Our place in the community

St John's Church and Centre are right in the middle of Meopham village and we do our best to create and strengthen links with all members of the community. One key feature of this is the Friday afternoon Community Cafe in the St John's Centre, which has been in operation since September 2019. This is a friendly place for tea, home-made cakes and chat. There are regular visits from organisations providing help and advice.

We also participate in civic events, working closely with Meopham Parish Council, and regularly host visits by classes from local schools.

Daily Post

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
